Brisbane Roar’s much-anticipated FFA Cup Round of 16 clash against Lions FC will be held at Lions Stadium, Richlands on Sunday, 24 October, Football Australia confirmed today.
The match is scheduled to commence at 3:30pm AEST with broadcast coverage live and free via 10 Play.
The Roar will be aiming to win through to the Quarter Finals for the first time in the club’s history after beating Peninsula Power 3-0 at Moreton Daily Stadium last month.
It’s bound to be a tough assignment against the in-form Lions, who have won nine straight NPL Queensland games.
In fact, the last team to beat them at that level was the Brisbane Roar Youth side on 11 July, thanks to two goals from Eli Adams.
The Roar will share ticketing details with fans once that information is available.
