Before the Hyundai A-League blockbuster between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory on Saturday night, Suncorp Stadium will also host a charity match between a Premiers XI v Corporate XI, featuring some of Brisbane’s well known corporate identities and local and state politicians.
Before the Hyundai A-League blockbuster between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory on Saturday night, Suncorp Stadium will also host a charity match between a Premiers XI v Corporate XI, featuring some of Brisbane-s well known corporate identities and local and state politicians.
The match is an initiative by Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) and will raise money for Yalari, a not-for-profit organisation that offers education scholarships at Australian-s leading boarding schools for Indigenous children from remote, rural and regional communities.
Both teams trained once this week in the lead-up to the big fixture with the Premiers XI allowed to have a run on the hallowed turf of Speakers Green at Parliament House (pictured above with Brisbane Roar Community Manager Andy Pinches).
