Brisbane Roar General Update

As we move into the 2023/24 A-Leagues campaign, the club can provide a general update from both its squads.

Isuzu UTE A-League
Brisbane Roar’s Isuzu UTE A-League players are still on leave, and the squad are scheduled to be back in for pre-season in late June.

Brisbane Roar will be playing in the Round 32 of the Australia Cup, in August and thus training will be geared towards the start of that tournament. The draw date for the Round of 32 remains TBC.

In the pre-season, the Brisbane Roar will be looking to connect with the local community through playing friendly games at local clubs in South-East Queensland.

The club is eagerly awaiting completion of the Brendale elite training facility where all A-League Men, A-League Women, and Academy teams will be training in the future, and will act as the home base of the Football Department and Coaching staff.

Head Coach Ross Aloisi will be back in Brisbane in June and will begin work before the commencement of pre-season training.

A number of Brisbane Roar Academy players with the likes of Trent Millard, Cher Deng, Thomas Waddingham, Cardiff Pond, Lachlan Duke and more will be given an opportunity in pre-season to impress the A-League Men.

With the European season concluding, the club is currently heavily active within the European market and is looking to bring on multiple Visa players.

The squad will again be heading to Fraser Coast for a pre-season camp, with dates to be announced by Brisbane Roar in the very near future. A full itinerary of the camp will be released once details are confirmed.
