Brisbane Roar will be returning to the Fraser Coast in July for a pre-season training camp and exhibition game.
The pre-season training camp will be followed by a game against an FQPL Wide Bay Men’s All-Stars team. The squad will also be undertaking a range of community engagement activities, while the Roar Active Program will be hosting clinics during the Fraser Coast visit. Â
“We are looking forward in our annual visit to the Fraser Coast, which over the years has built a solid following where we engage all ages across our clinic’s, community programs, open training sessions and exhibition game against a Wide Bay All-Stars team,” said Roar Chairman, Chris Fong.

“This is a great opportunity, early in the pre-season, to spend time away with the coaching staff and playing group as we work to build the squad for the upcoming 2023/24 season,” said Head Coach, Ross Aloisi.
“I hope a large contingent of Fraser Coast football supporters come to watch the game,” Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said.
“The games have been exciting, and the Wide Bay players have gained a lot from the experience, as have the spectators,” he added.
“Hosting the Roar has multiple benefits for the region. It allows our home-grown players to watch elite athletes in action and train with some of the best football players in the country.”
