Brisbane Roar kick off the double header against Wellington Phoenix this Saturday at Sky Stadium in Round 3 of the Liberty A-League.
In their last meeting, Brisbane shared the points in a 1-1 draw in Wellington so will be looking to improve on this result and continue this season’s winning ways.
This will be the fourth A-League Women match between Wellington Phoenix and Brisbane Roar FC with Roar being undefeated across their previous three meetings.
Brisbane have won each of their two matches in the 2023/24 A-League Women season; only twice in the history of the competition have the Roar begun a campaign on a longer unbeaten run.
Wellington Phoenix’ Rylee Foster (61) and Roar goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz (42) have made more long passes than any other players in the 2023/24 A-League Women season.
