Young Roar’s Kappa Pro Series Round 4 clash against Brisbane Strikers at Nudgee Recreation Reserve scheduled for Wednesday night has been postponed as a result of this week’s inclement weather.
Roar sit equal fourth in their group on three points ahead of their fourth group stage fixture.
With two rounds of group stage matches remaining Strikers are level in second, three points in front of Young Roar with the top two sides in Group B set to progress to the Quarter Finals.
Roar defeated SWQ Thunder 3-1 in their last Pro Series match thanks to a Rylan Brownlie hat-trick after suffering back-to-back defeats in their opening two group games.
Roar are currently on a three-match unbeaten run in the NPL with Andre Bennettās side drawing 1-1 with Wynnum thanks to a 93rd minute James Nikolovski strike in their last outing.
Young Roar currently sit eighth on the league table, with five points to their name after five rounds of action.
Strikers, who are coached by Dan Carew are second on the FQPL 1 ladder and remain undefeated after five rounds of action in the league.
