Brisbane Roar Group Stage opponents for the second edition of the Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy have been confirmed following the conclusion of the Play Off stage.
Sporting Club De Goa have won their way through the Goa Pro League Play Offs to join Roar, Dempo SC and FC Goa in Group A.
Additionally Roar’s first and second group opponents have been reversed with Ruben Zadkovich’s side now set to face Dempo in their tournament opener on Saturday before taking on FC Goa on Tuesday night.
The tournament which is held in memory of Goa’s first chief minister the late, Bhausaheb Bandodkar will take place between August 24 and September 6 consisting of teams from the Indian Super League, I-League, Argentine Primera Division club, Defensa y Justicia as well as Roar.
The top two sides in each group will progress to the Semi Finals with the final set to be played on September 3rd.
All matches of the Bhausaheb Bandodkar Memorial Trophy will be played at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda.
