The heartwarming interview from rising Roar star after CommBank Matildas debut

The CommBank Matildas have officially wrapped up their extended FIFA International Window which saw them host a pair of two matches series’ against Slovenia and Panama with Roar’s Grace Kuilamu and Chloe Lincoln featuring.  

For Kuilamu, her first senior appearance for the CommBank Matildas marks an incredible moment in the young career of the Brisbanite who has come through the system here after beginning her playing days at junior club Souths United.  

Reflecting on earning her first cap off the bench against Panama, an ecstatic Kuilamu said it was “an honour and a privilege” to pull on the Green and Gold for the very first time.

Grace wasn’t the only Roar representative for the Matildas, with custodian Chloe Lincoln seeing the field in both fixtures against Panama, with the second match resulting in Lincoln earning her first official start for the senior national team. 

Both Kuilamu and Lincoln are now set to feature heavily for Brisbane Roar in the 25/26 Ninja A-League Women season and fans can catch them both across the campaign with memberships now on sale here
