Brisbane Roar continued their pre-season fixtures with a 2-0 win over the Central Coast Mariners in front of 6,815 supporters at Sunshine Coast Stadium.
It was a physical battle between the two sides that saw most of the first half remain scoreless before Nathan Amanatidis crossed it into the box and found Justin Vidić in front of goal to make it 1-0 before the break.
James McGarry was next to find the back of the net, scoring against his former club by launching a shot past the keeper in the 83rd minute to secure the 2-0 victory.
After a great day out on the Sunshine Coast, the club would like to extend its thanks to the Sunshine Coast Council for making the day possible and to the fans that came out to support the club.
Up next, Roar head up to Redcliffe to face Peninsula Power in a pre-season clash on Tuesday 26 August at AJ Kelly Park!
