Brisbane Roar can confirm they have signed young winger Lily Punch ahead of the 2026/27 A-League Women season.
Punch, a Brisbane local, joins the Roar as a graduate of the Football Queensland Academy QAS program and a current Junior Matilda. She was named in the 2026 NPL Queensland Women’s Team of the Season and has represented Australia at youth level, known for her direct running and end product in front of goal.
Speaking on signing with the Roar, Lily Punch said, “I’m so excited to be signing with the Brisbane Roar and I can’t wait to play for my hometown club in front of the best fan base in the league.”
Head Coach Johnathan Clemente said Punch’s signing reflected the strength of the football pathway in Queensland.
“Lily joining the squad is another example of the quality of talent coming through in Queensland.
“As a direct goal scoring winger with X factor, I am excited to see another home-grown talent develop and excel at Roar,” Clemente said.
