Take a look at all the best snaps from our official 2018/19 Kit Launch.
On Wednesday night, we proudly unveiled our 2018/19 playing kits in front of a tremendous crowd of BRFC fans and members at our City of Logan Training Facility.
The thoughts of many fans that the Club would be returning to a more traditional orange and black home kit for the upcoming season was confirmed as our Hyundai A-League side, as well as Roar Women striker Allira Toby, put our new threads on display for all to see.
Our Hyundai A-League side will, for the first time in 2018/19, feature the branding of new Principal Partner, ActronAir (front-of-shirt) and Platinum Partner, BBC Painting (back-of-shirt).
Brisbane Airport Corporation will once again be placed front and centre on Mel Andreatta’s Premiership-winning Roar Women’s kits, while long-time supporters and Platinum Partner Luxury Paints continue their support of the Club as back-of-shirt sponsors.
“BRFC’s rich history is built on strong foundations and key traditions. It is pleasing therefore that all Roar sides will return to the predominantly orange and black home jersey during season 2018/19,” BRFC Managing Director David Pourre said.
Wednesday night’s event was a chance for our terrific supporters to once again rub shoulders with their BRFC idols as well as be one of the first to see BRFC take the next step in its history.
The night was also highlighted by an internal practice match with a twist, featuring two sides captained by dangerous French winger Eric Bautheac and fan favourite Jack Hingert.
Hingert, who is preparing for his eighth season at BRFC, took the honours in a modified penalty shootout, leading the side kitted out in our new away strip.
JACK HINGERT XI
Our French marquee attacker had the opportunity to lead out his side in our new home kit for the first time. Bautheac is preparing for his second season in Brisbane following an exciting first year in the Hyundai A-League.
