Ins & Outs: Young duo promoted for Roar Women

Mel Andreatta has promoted two young guns for Friday night’s Westfield W-League clash in Adelaide.

Fresh off a thumping 4-1 win over Canberra United last round, the Roar Women have booked a finals berth & will be looking to keep their Premiership hopes alive at Marden Sports Complex (6:30pm KO).

After making her maiden Westfield W-League start a fortnight ago against Sydney FC, Leah Davidson returns to the side alongside defender Danielle Ward who is in contention to make her league debut. The pair were both members of the BRFC/NTC NPLW premiership-winning squad.

Experienced defender Summer O’Brien has also been included in the 17-player squad on her return from injury.

A win against the Reds would guarantee the Roar Women a home semi-final in Brisbane, as well as keep their premiership hopes alive.

Catch all the action live on the MyFootball Live App from 6:30pm on Friday night.
