Three Young Roar squad members have been promoted to our 18-man squad for this weekend’s trip west to face Perth Glory on Saturday night.
Daniel Leck, Jay Barnett and Shannon Brady have been rewarded for strong showings in recent outings for our league-leading Young Roar.
Izaack Powell who last week became Brisbane Roar’s youngest ever player aged just 16 years, 361 days, retains his spot in the squad.

New signing Ruon Tongyik is in line for his BRFC debut while Dane Ingham and Daniel Bowles also come back into contention after missing last week’s win over reigning premiers Sydney FC through suspension.
Jamie Young will sit out Saturday’s match as he serves the final match of a two-game suspension, which was reduced by a game following last night’s Disciplinary and Ethics Committee hearing in Sydney.
Spaniard Alex Lopez also misses the trip to Perth through suspension.
