Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, following ongoing consultation and collaboration with Football Federation Australia (FFA), the Football Queensland Board of Directors earlier resolved to immediately postpone all Football Queensland administered competitions, effective immediately.
This includes all Football Queensland competitions currently competed in by Brisbane Roar Academy squads.
In light of today’s decision by Football Queensland, training for all our Brisbane Roar Academy teams, as well as external Academy programs, are cancelled for the foreseeable future.
This decision includes Academy programs scheduled for the Easter School Holiday period.
“These are unprecedented circumstances, but the safety of everyone involved with the Brisbane Roar Academy is of paramount importance,” Academy General Manager Warren Moon said.
“We appreciate the patience and understanding of all our Academy members, parents and those affected.”
