Brisbane Roar secured a hard-earned clean sheet and made it three unbeaten in the Isuzu UTE A-League with a 0-0 draw away to Melbourne Victory on Tuesday night.
Three days on from earning a point in Parramatta, the Roar fought hard to grab another result on the road and might have come away with a win had Scott Neville found the net with chances at the end of each half.
The defender was otherwise excellent at the back as Kai Trewin, Jack Hingert and Jordan Holmes also stood tall in the absence of suspended skipper Tom Aldred.
Warren Moon made three changes for the match and will likely have to shuffle the pack again with a Friday night trip to Macarthur FC fast approaching.
That will be the last stop in a busy week for Brisbane, who return home to host Victory on Anzac Day.
