Striker Emily Gielnik has re-signed with Brisbane Roar FC for season nine of the Westfield W-League competition.
With less than two weeks until the Roar Women face Sydney FC in Round One of Australia’s premier women’s domestic football competition.

The 24-year-old attacker who is currently on loan at Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds is looking forward to the upcoming Westfield W-League season and rejoining her Roar teammates.
“I’m very excited to be coming back and putting on that Orange jersey again,” Gielnik said.
“Brisbane definitely feels like home for me. I can’t wait to join my teammates and get the new [Westfield] W-League season underway.
“I want to help the team be successful again this year and looking forward to working with our new Head Coach Mel Andreatta.”
Gielnik’s signature is another positive step forward for the Roar Women squad as preparations continue for the upcoming campaign.
Head Coach Mel Andreatta will be looking to finalise her squad over the coming weeks with a couple of players still to be added ahead of the November 5 kick-off.
