The Club was formed in 1957 as Hollandia-Inala, and became Brisbane Lions, before it transitioned into Brisbane Roar, playing under that name from the inaugural season of the A-League in 2005-06.

With three A-League & three W-League Championships, Brisbane Roar Football Club is one of Australia’s most successful football clubs across all codes, also holding the record for the longest unbeaten run (36 games) in Australian sporting history.

Below on the left is the club’s original logo from 1957. Yellow and blue were the original Hollandia-Inala colours and the colours of the Dutch royal house, before the Netherlands became more closely associated with today’s iconic orange.
