1. Entry Conditions & Competition Outline

  1. 1.1  To be eligible for entry your small business must be defined by the relevant regulations and laws, particularly the Australian Corporates Act 2001 which from 1 July, 2019 defines ‘a small proprietary company’ as one of the following:
    – An annual revenue of less than $50 million

    – Less than 100 employees at the end of the financial year, and/ or
    – Consolidated gross assets of less than $25 million at the end of the financial year
    – For taxation purposes, the Australian Taxation Office defines a small business entity as having less than $10 million aggregated turnover.
    – For employment purposes, Fair Work Australia define a small business as one that has less than 15 employees or fewer than 20 people

  2. 1.2  This competition is open to any registered Business that meets the official criteria listed above and is based and operates in Queensland only.

  3. 1.3  There is no purchase or payment required of any kind necessary to enter, win or claim this partnership with the Brisbane Roar Football Club. Participation constitutes the entrant’s full & unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  4. 1.4  All participants must be at least 18 years or older, possess a valid form of Australian Government issued identification. Own or be the authorised representative of a business legally registered, licensed and operating in Queensland under a current Australian Business Number (ABN).

  5. 1.5  This competition will run from Monday 18 May 2020 at the time of announcement, before closing on COB Friday June 19.

1.6 A winner will be chosen at random by the Brisbane Roar Football Club and contacted via the contact details provided to us in this form.

2.0 Privacy Policy

2.1 By entering your details in the form provided, you agree to provide your Business information to the Brisbane Roar Football Club Pty Ltd. Brisbane Roar Football Club respects your privacy and values your trust and confidence. This privacy policy applies to your interactions with us, whether through our websites, mobile application, and online services that link to or post to these terms & conditions. This also holds true when we are phoned, visited in the Roar offices or otherwise interact with any member of staff. This is particularly prevalent when your data is collected and collated by us.

2.2 By Entering this competition you agree that you have read these T&C’s and agree to disclose any information we collect about you, and that you have opted in to receive promotional material from Brisbane Roar Football Club. We hold the right to your information and will not use your details for further distribution to third party entities for promotional activities, unless given opt in authorisation by you to do so.

2.3 The Brisbane Roar collects information from those who choose to participate in our competitions, buying our tickets, memberships, merchandise, community programs and Academy Programs. The type of information the club typically collects may include: Name, Contact Information, and Other Identifiers such as:

  • Demographic information
  • Comments and other information posted in our interactive online platforms
  • Correspondence and other information that you send to us or communicate with us

2.4 Use of Your Information: The Brisbane Roar Football Club Pty Ltd will use information that we collect through our online services for a varieties of purposes, including but not limited to:
– Providing support services

  • Advertising, Marketing & Promotional Purposes
  • Personalising your content experience
  • Auditing, reporting, corporate governance and internal operations
  • Complying with legal obligations – Defending our legal rights

2.5 Sharing of Information: The Brisbane Roar Football Club is committed to maintaining your trust and we want you to understand when and with whom we may share the information we collect. Under no circumstance will we share the personal/ business information you provide us with unless authorised to do so, to the likes of third-party entities and corporate partners. Unless authorised by you, data obtained is never shared directly, rather the quantity of data Brisbane Roar Football Club has in its possession is occasionally disclosed to entities the Brisbane Roar chooses to disclose such information to. Such entities quantity of data is shared with include the likes of Football Federation Australia (FFA), Football Queensland (FQ and the club Principal Partner.

3.0 General Conditions of Entry

3.1 The Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash or otherwise sold to any third party that the winner has an affiliation with. The winner may not sell the prize or any portion thereof.

3.2 Any attempt to exceed the maximum number of entries per person is a violation of these terms & Conditions and will not be considered in the random draw. If an entrant is found doing so, they may be disqualified from the competition.

3.3 Entrants assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or ineligible entries. Incomplete, corrupted or illegal entries without contact information or agreement of these official rules, are void and will not be accepted.

3.4 The Brisbane Roar Football Club holds the right to disqualify fraudulent entries or entries suspected of being fraudulent as determined by the Club. These entries will not be acknowledged.

3.5 By entering this competition, the entrant is automatically opted in to receive promotional emails from the club regarding Corporate Hospitality offers, Membership Information,

Ticketing and Team News. If an entrant would like to be opted out of these communications, they can do so by selecting ‘unsubscribe’ on the email they have received from the club.
