Brisbane Roar secured a spot in the finals in the 2013/14 season after defeating Canberra United 2-1 away at McKellar Park before failing to beat Melbourne Victory in the Grand Final.
Ayesha Norrie signed her first professional contract with the Brisbane Roar and made her top-flight debut in November 2013 against Canberra United at just 16 years of age.
Brisbane finished in fourth place during the regular season with 7 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws, earning a berth to the playoffs.
A total of 22 goals were scored throughout the campaign, but it was Katrina Gorry who won the Golden Boot after scoring five goals. She was followed closely behind with Hayley Raso and Tameka Yallop on four goals.
