The 2015/16 A-League Women’s Season was the club’s eighth season in the W-League that saw them eliminated in the semi-finals by Melbourne City on 5-4 in penalties.
Brisbane finished fourth on the W-League ladder after five wins, six losses, and one draw that saw them score a combined 16 goals. It was an equalised Golden Boot tally after Clare Polkinghorne, Gabe Marzano, Katrina Gorry, Tameka Yallop, Emily Gielnik, and Ruth Blackburn all scored two goals each.
This marked Belinda Wilson’s last season in charge after being appointed Head Coach in 2012 when she took over from Jeff Hopkins.
Defender Angela Beard was awarded Player of the Year and Player’s Player of the Year.
