2024 E-League Season to Kick off Tonight

The A-Leagues and EA SPORTS™ have come together to launch the new E-League presented by Nivea Men 2024 season with a raft of new and exciting changes.

This year, the revamped competition will consist of a new five-week regular season format followed by two packed weekends of playoffs, beginning on Monday, March 11 and 12 featuring two divisions and 24 players.

Brisbane Roar will be represented in the E-League division one by Cristian Valeri (Nuggzy) and in the E-League challengers division by Brad Rickard (Red Cap).

The E-League, the top division, will see 12 of the best local competitors go head-to-head live on Twitch each week in collaboration with broadcast partner, Lowkii, with the top 8 competitors progressing to the E-League 2024 Playoffs. The E-League begins March 12, 2024.

The E-League Challengers is our new secondary division where an additional 12 players will clash for the chance at a miracle run through the Gauntlet – a brand new do-or-die playoff bracket that will see the bottom 4 E-League players face off against the top 4 Challengers for the final two playoffs spots. The Challengers kick off on March 11, 2024.

With a total of 10 players remaining, the E-League 2024 Playoffs will see the top two ranked players from the E-League regular season seeded directly into the upper semi finals. A double elimination bracket and best-of-one match format will leave a combined 8 remaining players after the first day. From here, the final 8 players will battle it out for their share of the $10,000AUD prize pool and E-League Championship on April 27 and 28, 2024. The 2024 E-League champion will receive a direct seat in the EA SPORTS FC™ Pro World Championships later this year.

This season, fans will be able to watch every E-League match live on Twitch or via aleagues.com.au/e-league.
