As upper lips begin to twitch in anticipation of the approaching hairy season and people across the country ready themselves for the onslaught of Movember moustaches, the Hyundai A-League and club ambassadors are ready to Mo, today announcing a new partnership with the Movember Foundation.

The Movember Foundation’s mission to change the face of men’s health aligns perfectly with the Hyundai A-League’s unique position to highlight and educate in regards to health issues to the wider community.

During the month of Movember, the Hyundai A-League Clubs are challenging the football community and all Aussies to get involved as Mo Bros or Mo Sistas – encouraging men to grow and women to support a moustache this Movember.

Men can get involved by growing any style of moustache they see fit over the 30 days of the month. Some might even like to give the ‘Graham Arnold’ a go, as showcased by the current Sydney FC Head Coaches impressive ‘tache during his playing days in the early 1990s.

The Movember Foundation and the Hyundai A-League will work together across digital platforms including www.a-league.com.au, Movember.com, both social media and newsletters as well as at all matches in Round 4 of the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Season.

Each Australian-based Hyundai A-League Club has nominated a Movember Ambassador who will be teaming up to promote the Movember message and raising money in the process.  The Movember Ambassdors are:

Marcelo Carrusca (Adelaide United)
Jade North  (Brisbane Roar FC)
Eddy Bosnar (Central Coast Mariners)
Steve Kuzmanovski (Melbourne City FC)
Carl Valeri (Melbourne Victory)
Jason Hoffman (Newcastle Jets)
Richard Garcia (Perth Glory)
Rhyan Grant (Sydney FC)
Liam Youlley (Western Sydney Wanderers FC)

The Movember Foundation’s Paul Villanti, Executive Director, said the partnership was a great opportunity for men and women in the football community to get involved at a grassroots level and make a difference to the health of men across the country.

“Australians love football and the partnership with the Hyundai A-League and Clubs will help spread the Mo message more than ever before,” said Villanti.

Head of Hyundai A-League Damien de Bohun said: “We are very proud to partnering with the Movember Foundation to help drive awareness for such important national men’s health issues. We look forward to working with the team at the Movember Foundation and towards achieving some fantastic Mo’s and excellent fundraising results to help change the face of men’s health this Movember.”

Join the movement – sign up at Movember.com to grow, give and support the moustache for the 30 days of Movember.

So it’s going to be an epic month of Mos. It’s all for a good cause of course and it’ll be fun seeing what grows above the lips of our Hyundai A-League Movember Men.
