A-Leagues announces full fixtures for season 2023-24

The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has announced the full fixtures for the Liberty A-League Women and Isuzu UTE A-League Men season 2023-24 as football fever consumes Australia and New Zealand.

Liberty A-League Women

Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has today announced the full Liberty A-League fixture for the upcoming 2023/24 season in an exciting time off the back of the FIFA Women’s World Cup where the Matilda’s united the nation.  

Brisbane Roar is set to kick off Round 1 away to Melbourne Victory on Sunday 15 October, with venue and time TBC. 

The first home game will be in Round 2 on Sunday 21 October against Sydney FC, 3 pm AEST with venue TBC.  

There will be two home games at the back end of November, on the 19th and 25th against Western United and Adelaide United, both 3 pm AEST with venue TBC.  

A pre-Christmas fixture is locked in for 17 December vs. Western Sydney Wanderers at 5 pm AEST, with venue TBC.  

In March, the Roar have 4x home games to finish the season with a final fixture on 30 March, providing an opportunity for supporters to get out to more games!

Isuzu UTE A-League Men  

Our Isuzu UTE A-League Men are locked in to face Macarthur Bulls in Round 1 at Campbelltown Stadium at 3:30 pm AEST on Saturday 21 October 2023. 

The men will play ONE game at Ballymore, and 12 games at Suncorp Stadium in season 2023/24. 

The Roar’s first home game will be in Round 2 against Sydney FC on Friday 27 October at Suncorp Stadium at 6:45 pm AEST KO, in what is set to be a cracking opening home fixture for Brisbane Roar.  

The Roar has back-to-back home games in November and December, providing the best time for families to enjoy some summer football entertainment.  

A pre-Christmas fixture against Central Coast Mariners is scheduled on Thursday 21 December at Suncorp Stadium at 6:45 pm AEST. The New Year kicks off on Saturday 6 January at Suncorp Stadium at 6:45 pm AEST.  

Our men then have back-to-back home games in early February, late February and early March for an opportunity for supporters to enjoy football in the heart of Brisbane.  

The very first Isuzu UTE A-League fixture played at Ballymore Stadium will be Saturday 16 March 2024 against Macarthur Bulls at 4:30 pm AEST. 

The club will be working towards ensuring the Ballymore game is the best product it can be, with the club looking to make the venue a family-centric day out to enjoy Brisbane Roar games.  

This game will act as a test for what can be achieved at Ballymore Stadium, while ensuring compliance is met and is the best possible standard with the view of more games at Ballymore Stadium in the following season. 

Brisbane Roar looks forward to again hosting an Anzac Day ceremony in commemoration on Friday 26 April against Adelaide United at Suncorp Stadium in an Anzac Day fixture.
