Brisbane Roar are set to host Melbourne Victory FC in their Round 6 clash at Suncorp Stadium this Friday night. 

Here’s everything you need to know before heading to the match up with Melbourne Victory, brought to you by Value Dental.

GETTING TO THE GAME        

All transport information can be found on the Translink website. Brisbane Roar would like to note that the current plan below is subject to change based on crowd attendances across the season.  

Public transport is the best way to get to Suncorp Stadium and is FREE with your ticket on all Queensland Rail City Network (excluding Airtrain) and all Transport for Brisbane bus services.   

Special Event Shuttles will operate from Brisbane City only. Patrons can utilise regular scheduled services and transfer onto city shuttles running to the Stadium (departing Ann St – ANZAC Square and City Hall). Please note city shuttles to the Stadium finish at 7:55pm.  

Chermside Patrons: Catch the 333 (running every 15 minutes) to King George Square and transfer to the City Shuttle on Ann Street  

Carindale Patrons: Catch the 222 (running every 15 minutes) to King George Square and transfer to the City Shuttle on Ann Street   

Eight Mile Plains/ Garden City Patrons: Catch the M1 Service (running every 5-15 minutes) to King George Square and transfer to the City Shuttle on Ann Street   

The Gap Patrons: Catch the 385 (running every 15 minutes) to Stop 5 at Given Terrace.   

For approx. one (1) hour from the conclusion of the event patrons can catch the 385 from Given Terrace to the Gap or catch Special Event City shuttles to Ann Street and transfer at King George Square to catch:   

222 to Carindale   

333 to Chermside; and   

M1 to Eight Mile Plains  

ACTIVATIONS  

To celebrate Christmas in November, Santa will be roaming around the stadium on the day, so be sure to get there early to get a photo!  

Soccer darts and Football Queensland’s inflatable field will be set up outside on the Northern Concourse pre-match from 5:35pm. 

Face painting will be available on Friday night and located in section 337. 

The Children’s Hospital Foundation will be doing a charity toy drop at Friday’s game, with donation points being located on the north and south end of the precinct. Fans are encouraged to bring toys and food donations.  

Items should be brand new, no toys containing button batteries, no toys depicting violence or weapons, no toys with sharp edges, no latex, toxic items or scented items.  

As always, Mascot Roary will be in attendance, so be sure to arrive early to get a photo on either the southern or northern plaza!   

MERCHANDISE  

Our fresh new kit will be available to purchase at the merchandise stands on the night on both Level 3 at both the North and South Concourse.   

POST MATCH PLAYER SIGNINGS   

Head to the western stand (bench side) of the stadium post-match to get a signature or photo with your favourite Roar players.   

SENSORY ROOM        

Suncorp Stadium has a Quiet Sensory Room located on the Level 3 concourse inside Gate A.         

A Quiet Sensory Room is a safe space for people to go if they become overwhelmed during events.         

The Suncorp Stadium Quiet Sensory Room has:        

  • Adjustable lighting        
  • Different spaces that have curtains for privacy        
  • Sensory items        
  • Comfortable seating        
  • Communication board/cards        
  • Supportive trained staff
