ALM R6 Preview: Macarthur FC vs Brisbane Roar

Brisbane Roar go head-to-head with Macarthur in Isuzu UTE A-League Round 6 action at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday night.

Roar look to kick start their season with victory on the road against the Bulls, who currently sit seventh on the league table.

Roar come into Saturday’s off the back of a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Adelaide United where despite leading twice through goals from Keegan Jelacic and Jay O’Shea a second half fightback saw the Reds take all three points.

Jelacic’s brilliant first half strike, which was the 22-year-old’s first in the league in 2024/25 won Isuzu UTE Goal of the Week.

      Another youngster to catch the eye for Ruben Zadkovich’s side was Jacob Brazete, who impressed with a number of strong incursions down the left flank after coming on as a second half substitute.

      Macarthur also suffered defeat in Unite Round going down 1-0 to league leaders, Auckland at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

      Saturday’s match which kicks off at 6:35pm AEST will be broadcast live on Paramount+, 10 Play & 10 Bold.
