ALM R9 Matchday Guide: Brisbane Roar vs Perth Glory

Brisbane Roar are in Isuzu UTE A-League action at Suncorp Stadium for the final time in 2024 when they go up against Perth Glory on Saturday afternoon.

Here’s everything you need to know before heading to Saturday’s match which is brought to you by Principal Partner, Outkast.

GETTING TO THE GAME 

If you have a pre-purchased ticket or a stadium membership card you can travel free to and from Suncorp Stadium on all regular network-wide Brisbane City Council buses and Queensland Rail City Network trains (excludes Brisbane City Council ferries, the G: and Air train services). 

Please note there are major weekend track closures affecting all lines this weekend. The Ipswich and Springfield lines will still stop at both Milton and Roma Street Station with the Gold Coast and Beenleigh lines also running to Roma Street.

All other lines are closed with timetabled railbuses to replace trains to help you get where you need to be. 

Railbuses may take longer than trains. Please consider your transport options, allow extra travel time and plan ahead to find your fastest travel option.

Suncorp Stadium is close to Milton station (500m away via pedestrian walkway to Southern Plaza), Roma Street station and Roma Street busway station (1.14km away), and bus stops on Caxton Street, Given Terrace and Milton Road. 

Shuttle busses will be in operation to Suncorp Stadium from Brisbane City, Carindale Chermside, Eight Mile Plains and The Gap two hours pre match and one-hour post-match.

MEMBERSHIP 

Our membership team will be situated on the Southern concourse for members to redeem and collect their membership packs on match day. Please note this is for full-season ALM members only. 

Members can head to gate D or B to sort any issues on game day. For any further membership issues email: membership@brisbaneroar.com.au 

MERCHANDISE  

Cikers merchandise including our 2024/25 A-League home & away jerseys and casual wear will be available to purchase at outlets on both the Northern and Southern ends of the ground on match day. The match day merchandise outlets are located beneath the scoreboards. 

Alternatively, our new jerseys including our home, away and third kit have been restocked and are available on our online store. You can purchase merchandise online HERE. 

Velflex regret to advise they are not able to have a presence at the match for jersey personalisation at Saturday’s game.

SENSORY ROOM 

Suncorp Stadium has a Quiet Sensory Room located on the Level 3 concourse inside Gate A.  

A Quiet Sensory Room is a safe space for people to go if they become overwhelmed during events.  

The Suncorp Stadium Quiet Sensory Room has: 

  • Adjustable lighting 
  • Different spaces that have curtains for privacy 
  • Sensory items 
  • Comfortable seating 
  • Communication board/cards 
  • Supportive trained staff 

DISABILITY ACCESSIBLE EVENT  

In conjunction with Autism Spectrum Australia, the sunflower program has also been introduced at Suncorp Stadium.

The sunflower is a globally recognised symbol for non-visible disabilities, also known as hidden disabilities or invisible disabilities. Patrons may choose to wear a lanyard throughout an event to discreetly identify to venue staff that they may need extra help, time or guidance. 
 
If you need additional assistance, please approach one of the staff who has a Sunflower lanyard or pin. If you don’t have a Sunflower lanyard, a free lanyard can be collected from staff at the information stands and corporate entrances.
