Brisbane Roar return home to Gioca Stadium on Saturday afternoon to host Sydney FC, with both sides chasing their first win of the 2026/27 Ninja A-League Women season.
Johnathan Clemente’s side were beaten 3-1 by Western Sydney Wanderers at CommBank Stadium last Saturday. The Roar started brightly and led through an early own goal, but the hosts levelled before half-time and scored twice after the break. It followed a 4-2 home loss to Central Coast Mariners in Round 1, when Daisy Brown and Katrina Guillou found the net.
Sydney FC also arrive in Brisbane looking for their first three points. James Slaveski’s side opened with a 2-2 draw against Adelaide United at Sydney Olympic Park before a 5-0 loss to Melbourne City last weekend.
