ALW R2 Matchday Guide: Brisbane Roar vs Sydney FC

Be there as Brisbane Roar take on Sydney FC in their first home match of the 2024/25 Ninja A-League A-League Season on Saturday afternoon. 

This is your first chance to our Roar Women in action this season. Alex Smith’s new look side is stacked with talent with 6-time Bulgarian player of the Year Evdokia Popadinova and Singapore international adding even more potency to an attack containing Matildas duo Tameka Yallop & Sharn Freier. 

Roar’s star studded attack of international talent is complemented next gen of Matildas stars including current Australia youth internationals Tish Woods, Zara Kruger, Tanaye Morris, Grace Kuilamu and Isabela Hoyos. 

Here’s everything you need to know before heading to Saturday’s match against the defending champions which is brought you by BRFC Major Partner, Ausenco.

Please note tickets at the gate are more expensive. The best method for seamless entry is to purchase online and have your tickets ready to scan via phone or a via a printed EZY Ticket  

All seating at Perry Park is General Admission. First come first served. Free public transport to Perry Park is not included with tickets for Saturday’s match.  

Ninja Passes can be scanned at the gate for entry into the match.   

Entry via Gate 1 on Folkestone Street on the day. Please note this will be the only entry and exit point on game day . Gate 2 on Edmonstone Road will be closed.

PARKING 

Please note there is no parking available at Perry Park.  

TRANSPORT 

The following transport lines have routes that pass near Perry Park. Bowen Hills train station is located across the street from Perry Park on Abbotsford Road.  

Free public transport to Perry Park is not included with tickets for Saturday’s match.  

Bus: 301, 306, 320, 322   

Train: IPSW, REDC, SHOR, SPRI   

There are scheduled weekend track closures on the CBD, Beenleigh, Cleveland, Ferny Grove, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Springfield and Rosewoods train lines with timetabled rail buses replacing trains.

FOOD & BEVERAGE 

Canteen and bar facilities will be operating inside the club house in the Bill Wadell Stand and various points around Perry Park.

Memberships Packs are available to purchase at Perry Park at Saturday’s game. Look out for the BRFC orange marquee. 
 
The price of a Membership Pack is $25 and are only available to BRFC ALW members including both Full or Part Season.
