ALW ROUND 10 PREVIEW: MELBOURNE CITY VS BRISBANE ROAR

Brisbane Roar gear up for their Round 10 clash against current table toppers Melbourne City in search of a big three points on Thursday evening at AAMI Park.

Roar welcome back a fan favourite, Mariel Hecher, into the 20-player squad which will see her in line to return from her ACL injury that she acquired in December 2022.

New signings Bonnie Davies and Deborah-Anne De La Harpe remain in the 20-player squad and will look for more minutes tomorrow night. 

Roar currently sit eighth on the table, and will be looking to secure three points for Head Coach Alex Smith’s first win in charge. 

Brisbane Roar are one away from becoming the second team to reach 100 wins in A-League Women history behind Sydney FC with 128.

Sharn Freier has attempted (40) and made more successful take-ons (20) than any other player in the 2023/24 A-League Women season.
