Brisbane Roar drew 1-1 with the Central Coast Mariners to share the points at Industree Group Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
It was the Mariners’ Rola Badawiyawho who opened the scoring with a header in the 26th minute off a corner.
Although, only a minute passed before Roar Captain Eash Norrie levelled the scoreline with a stellar strike on goal.
A special mention to Roar goalkeeper Jordan Silkowitz who was strong in goals with some spectacular saves to hold the Mariners out.
The game ended in a stalemate in Gosford, and Brisbane return home with a point.
Roar’s next match will be back in Brisbane at their home of Ballymore Stadium next Sunday 19 November against Western United.
