Brisbane Roar can confirm that Besart Berisha will leave the club at the conclusion of the Hyundai A-League season.
Despite the club-s best efforts to keep the Albanian international in Brisbane, Berisha will not re-sign with Brisbane Roar beyond his current contract.
“With the salary cap we have in this league, the ins and outs of players are a fact of life,” Head Coach Mike Mulvey said.
“Brisbane Roar has been aware that this was a possibility and we are committed to bringing in a quality striker for the next A-League season.”
Berisha will remain a contracted player to Brisbane Roar until the end of the 2013/14 season.
