Qantas Young Socceroos have qualified for the final of the AFC U-19 Championship, with Brisbane Roar Youth defender Daniel Bowles playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 semi-final victory over Saudi Arabia.

Having already qualified for the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup by progressing to the final four of the tournament, the pressure was off the Qantas Young Socceroos but the side was keen to continue on their impressive form since arriving in China.

Two second-half goals from Kerem Bulut sealed the win against Saudi Arabia, while Bowles had a solid performance in defence, with the team now progressing to the final against DPR Korea on Sunday.
