Brisbane Roar has today announced the 18 players selected for the BRFC Invitational XI that will meet Warren Moon’s men this Saturday afternoon.
The teams are set to square off at Underwood Park at 3:00pm in the Roar’s second last pre-season outing.
The Invitational squad includes a mix of players with NPL, FQPL and Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s experience in the shape of Oskar Dillon and Matt Ridenton.
Jordan Manning of the Brisbane Roar Academy will lead the side.
The entry fee for Saturday’s game is a single gold coin.
For the men in orange, it’s another important step towards the season-opening clash with Melbourne City at AAMI Park on Friday, 19 November.
Next weekend’s meeting with the NPL All Stars is the only other game that comes before that Round 1 fixture.
