Brisbane Roar announces SENQ as exclusive AM Radio Partner

Brisbane Roar is excited to announce they will be partnering with sports radio broadcaster SENQ.

As the state’s only 24/7 sports radio station, SENQ allows Queensland sports fans to experience wall-to-wall sports coverage.

Brisbane Roar’s General Manager – Commercial Matt Smith said he was excited by the opportunities the partnership will provide the Club this season.

“Brisbane Roar is proud to be partnering with the Sports Entertainment Network Queensland [SENQ] for the upcoming season, and we’re excited by the exposure opportunities this partnership will provide the Club while providing more football stories for our fans,” he said.

“As a club we recognise we are needing to implement more storytelling of the club through our media and marketing, and we’re excited to announce a partnership with SEN to help us achieve this,” Smith added.

Our A-League Men’s and Women’s players will be featuring regularly on their shows throughout the season including ‘Breakfast with Pat & Heals’ hosted by veteran sports journalist Pat Welsh and former test cricketer Ian Healy as well as ‘Sportsday’, with Gary Belcher and Scott Sattler.

SEN Group Commercial Director Brad Johnson said ahead of a big couple of months of football, SENQ will be the place to connect with the world game.

“SENQ is all about promoting local sport, and we are proud to partnering with the Brisbane Roar in the Isuzu UTE A-League,” he said.

“With the season kicking off this weekend, and the FIFA World Cup beginning soon, SENQ will be a great place for football fans and commercial partners alike to connect with the world game.”

With Brisbane Roar set to return to Suncorp Stadium for their Round 1 Isuzu UTE A-League clash against Macarthur FC, head coach Warren Moon was on Breakfast with Pat and Heals Tuesday morning. Check out the full interview (1:20:10-1:35:30) here.
