Brisbane Roar wishes to advise that chief executive officer David Pourre will take a leave of absence from the club for health related reasons.
Corey Mouttou, Head of Commercial, has been appointed acting CEO to manage day-to-day operations.
“Our full support is behind David and our best wishes are with him and his family,” Mouttou said.
“His health comes first at this time and we very much look forward to welcoming him back in the near future.
“In the meantime, the club will continue to progress with on and off-field planning for the new season across all departments.”
The Roar’s final senior competitive match for the current campaign will take place this Friday night when Warren Moon’s men visit Western Sydney Wanderers in an Australia Cup Playoff.
Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
