Brisbane Roar members and fans displayed their kindness over the Christmas period by donating more than 500 toys for sick children as part of the ‘Bring The Toys’ initiative.
In collaboration with the Roar Supporters Federation, we were able to put smiles on faces by welcoming donations at the club’s last home game – the Liberty A-League match on 18 December.
Despite the postponement of the men’s match, this was a fantastic achievement and a great boost for kids doing it tough during the holiday period.
Joining forces with the Roar Supporters Federation, the club was able to donate the toys to Hummingbird House, Ronald McDonald House and the Gold Coast University Hospital in the week before Christmas.
We thank our members and fans for their generous contributions at such an important time of the year.
