Following a meeting of stakeholders of the Bakrie Group on the evening of Tuesday, 16 August, a decision was made to remove Daniel Cobb from the position of Managing Director of Brisbane Roar Football Club with immediate effect.
Throughout the day yesterday (Wednesday), the Club’s advisors were working to ensure all ASIC requirements were complied with, regarding his directorship.
Football Federation Australia has been advised of the club’s position.
Brisbane Roar Football Club would like to thank Daniel for his efforts over the last two months and wish him every success with his future endeavours.
The team and coaching staff are currently at a training camp on the Gold Coast and the club remains fully focused on providing the team with the best opportunity to be successful in the upcoming Hyundai A-league season.
