Brisbane Roar are pleased to welcome midfielder Alicia Woods to the 2023/24 Liberty A-League squad on a scholarship contract.
Woods spent the past two seasons in the NPL Queensland with Peninsula Power FC, with one of those seasons playing under Roar Head Coach Alex Smith. The 19-year-old also previously played for the Sunshine Coast Wanderers.
The young midfielder looks forward to relishing the opportunity and aspires to attaining a full contract in the new year.
“I’m very excited to join the girls, good group of girls and awesome coaching staff so I’m very keen to get started,” Woods said.
“I’m hoping to use the opportunity as much as I can and break into getting some minutes and hopefully sign a contract next year,” she added.
