Brisbane Roar will proudly reaffirm its commitment to inclusion and diversity when the club hosts its annual Pride Match on Friday 13 February, which will see our A-League Women’s side take on Sydney FC at Spencer Park, Newmarket.
The Pride Match will celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and reinforce Brisbane Roar’s ongoing commitment to ensuring football is a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.
To mark the occasion, the match will feature several Pride initiatives, including rainbow corner flags, a rainbow captain’s armband worn by the Brisbane Roar captain, and rainbow boot laces worn by players across the squad.
Supporters attending the match will also have the opportunity to purchase a special-edition Brisbane Roar Pride warm up shirt, which will be available on match day and online prior to kick off.
Brisbane Roar looks forward to welcoming it’s fans back to Spencer Park for what will be a special ocassion.
