Brisbane Roar will have a brand-new Principal Partner along for the ride when the club makes its highly anticipated return to Suncorp Stadium this coming season.
The Roar are taking three Isuzu UTE A-League matches back to the scene of their unforgettable Orange Sunday triumphs and have signed up BuyYourCar.com.au – Queensland’s largest fixed price warehouse selling across Australia – as a great new Principal Partner on a multi-year deal, beginning with a bigger, better 2022/23 campaign.
The BuyYourCar logo will be proudly emblazoned across the Roar’s iconic orange kit when Warren Moon’s side run out at Suncorp Stadium for the first time since March 2020.
Brisbane Roar Chairman Chris Fong said: “We are delighted to have BuyYourCar on board as our new Principal Partner for our return to Suncorp Stadium next season and beyond.
“The club has listened to the fans and I assure them that these three games are just the beginning as we move beyond the challenges of COVID-19 and into a growth period for the club.
“BuyYourCar share our excitement for the future and we are very pleased to have them joining us on this journey.
“I would also like to recognise Moreton Bay Regional Council at this time for their ongoing support, particularly as work continues on the fantastic new Women’s Centre of Excellence and Youth Academy facility in Brendale.”
Today’s announcement follows confirmation of the signing of former Premier League striker Charlie Austin, who has signed a multi-year contract with the Roar.
BuyYourCar Founder Matt Wright said: “We’re very excited to jump on board as the Principal Partner for the Roar.
“BuyYourCar has become a market-leader over the last few years, focusing on servicing the needs of the Queensland public when it comes to buying their next car. The desire to succeed and surpass expectations are traits instilled throughout our organisation and its wider Group but also that of the Brisbane Roar, a clear indicator there is imminent success returning to this club.
“We are looking forward to playing our part over the next few years.”
Suncorp Stadium General Manager Alan Graham added: “The Roar have had great success at Suncorp Stadium including their three championships in 2011, 2012 and 2014 and we are excited to see what this next season holds for them.
“Suncorp Stadium is a fantastic venue for watching football as we all saw during the Orange Sunday Finals and we can’t wait to have them back.”
Brisbane Roar wishes to take this opportunity to acknowledge ActronAir for their valued support as the club’s Principal Partner over the past four years.
