Brisbane Roar’s Isuzu UTE A-League Round 5 match against Perth Glory has been postponed, the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) has announced.
The postponement follows confirmation of a Perth Glory player testing positive for COVID-19 ahead of Saturday’s scheduled double-header.
No individuals from the Brisbane Roar’s men’s or women’s football departments have been impacted, meaning the Liberty A-League Round 3 clash with Melbourne Victory will proceed as planned at Moreton Daily Stadium.
That match is set to kick-off at 4:05pm.
All tickets purchased for Saturday will be reallocated to the new date for the Isuzu UTE A-League fixture between Brisbane Roar and Perth Glory, which has been moved to early 2022 with exact details to be confirmed by the APL in due course.
The men’s team will now refocus on preparing for their FFA Cup Quarter Final against Sydney FC next Wednesday, 22 December.
Anyone who wishes to solely attend this weekend’s Liberty A-League game must purchase a new ticket, with this option to become available through Ticketek in the next 24 hours.
Existing double-header ticket holders who purchase a new ticket for Saturday’s standalone match may then arrange a refund of their double-header ticket by contacting the Brisbane Roar membership team via membership@brisbaneroar.com.au.
After providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination, Full Season members can enter the venue as usual and collect membership packs at Gate 2.
A-League Women members are urged to check their inboxes on Friday for an email containing full member ticket redemption information.
Gates open at 3:20pm on Saturday, with the BringTheToys initiative for the donation of soft toys to less fortunate kids to occur at approximately 3:50pm.
