Clinical Sydney claim three points

Brisbane Roar suffered a defeat on the road going down 4-0 to Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Sky Blues peppered the Roar defence from earlier on but were unable to capitalise on their chances.

However, just after the half an hour mark U.S. recruit Madison Haley opened the scoring with a powerful shot before adding a second 10 minutes later.

The second half saw the Roar have a second lease on life, trying to work their way into the box on a number of occasions with nothing falling their way.

Roar goalkeeper Hensley Hancuff made a number of late saves to keep Sydney out but as the game drew to an end, the hosts pounced, adding two more goals to the scoreboard.

The Roar will be back at home on Saturday 17 December when they face Western Sydney Wanderers at AJ Kelly Park.
