Striker Rylee Baisden has warned of a potentially ‘lethal’ Roar attack ahead of tomorrow’s Westfield W-League clash against Adelaide United.
The Roar Women return home for their third home game of the season, facing the Reds in Richlands (4:30pm KO).
Baisden netted her maiden goal a fortnight ago in the side’s last outing at the venue, before being desperately unlucky to not score in the 2-1 win against Canberra United last Thursday.

A fast-gelling Roar attack will cause problems for defences throughout the league according to the American striker.
“Our front three is really gelling at the moment – even our front six. Our fullbacks are bombing on and helping out in attack and that’s pretty hard to defend,” Baisden said.
“More efficiency in the final third is what we’ve bene working on this. Hopefully that comes to fruition where we can create plenty of chances and put them away.
“As long as we take our chances, we’ll be pretty lethal this weekend.”
Saturday’s contest provides a chance to roll some momentum as the Westfield W-League season creeps towards the halfway mark.
A four-game winning streak against the Reds was broken last year, but Baisden says the focus is solely on what the Roar needs to do to win the game.
“It’s always good to play at home & now that we have a bit of momentum, we’re ready to get a win on our home pitch,” Baisden continued.
“Winning on the road is always pretty sweet. It was great for the squad just to know that we do have it in ourselves to get wins like that and we’re ready to get the ball rolling now.
“We’re not focusing on them, it’s about us & how we play our game. We had a great win on the road against Canberra and we’ll just play our game again this weekend.”
