Bowles was a member of Brisbane Roar’s inaugural Foxtel National Youth League squad in 2008 and spent three years with the Queensland club before moving south to join Gold Coast United on a senior contract.
Following the demise of the Gold Coast club, the former Toowoomba Raiders junior spent two years at Adelaide United before reuniting with Brisbane Roar in 2014.
He played 22 matches during the 2015/16 Hyundai A-League season, showing consistency and versatility – utilised at either centre-back or right-back.
