Brisbane Roar are delighted to welcome back Queenslander and Eastern Suburbs FC goalkeeper Emma Gibbon to the club on a Youth Development Agreement (YDA) for the 2024/25 Ninja A-League Women Season.
Gibbon spent the off-season playing for Eastern Suburbs, finishing second in the NPL QLD after having the best defensive record in the league.
The 25-year-old kept the most clean sheets in the league (13) and was selected in the Queensland State Team training squad for Football Queensland’s Festival of Football.
“I’m thrilled to be re-signing with Brisbane Roar, the club I grew up supporting,” Gibbon said.
“I feel like I’ve grown as a player over the last season, and I’m eager to keep building on that progress.”
