Full season fixture released for Roar’s A-League Women

Brisbane Roar Women

Brisbane Roar’s elite A-Leagues sides will unite for at least four double-headers this season with more Moreton Daily Stadium matches now locked in for our A-League Women.

The full competition calendar was released today after border restrictions and quarantine requirements had meant only the first four rounds could be drawn up previously.

Garrath McPherson’s side will play seven home matches in total beginning with the Round 2 clash with Perth Glory on Friday, 10 December at the Gold Coast Croatian Sports Centre (Gold Coast Knights Stadium), the scene of last season’s record-equalling 6-0 win over Melbourne Victory.

The Roar then host none other than the Victory at Moreton Daily Stadium in Round 3 on Saturday, 18 December, one of the four confirmed double-header dates.
A-League Women Season Draw

“An absolute priority for us has been to ensure the highest levels of broadcast quality for the A-Leagues / Women games this season, and the draw as it has been laid out allows us to do precisely that,” said A-Leagues Commissioner Greg O’Rourke.

“The double-headers we have scheduled allow our clubs to stage both their men’s and women’s teams in top-quality stadiums for their fans, and mean that the football will not stop flowing on Paramount+.”

With this season featuring the inaugural A-Leagues Club Championship, a trophy awarded to the club with the most success across both the men’s and women’s leagues, the double-headers will offer fans ‘six-pointers’ in the battle to be crowned Australia’s most successful football club overall.

The A-Leagues’ partnership with 10ViacomCBS will mean live free-to-air coverage of a top billing A-League / Women’s match on 10Bold at 4:00pm every Sunday, with the remaining games available on Paramount+.
