Brisbane Roar’s Sporting Schools Program continues to be Australia’s most popular football program, reaching an incredible number of school students and introducing them to the world game.

Brisbane Roar is the only endorsed football provider in Queensland to deliver Sporting Schools sessions before, during and after school with more than 10,500 students participating in 116 programs delivered in the first semester of 2018 right across the state.

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase participation in sport among children and to connect children with community sport.

The Australian Sports Commission has partnered with more than 30 National Sporting Organisations, including Brisbane Roar, to extend the delivery of programs across Australia via their networks of aligned organisations and coaches, ensuring a consistent and quality experience across the board.

Take a look below at some testimonials from school staff members.

“Thanks for providing another fantastic program, the kids enjoyed themselves a heap and learnt many new skills of football. The coaches were all a load of fun and very professional. We had a few laughs along the way too.”

“We had an awesome program with seven sessions – thanks so much. A few kids in each session started out by saying they weren’t into football and didn’t want to play. With the coach encouraging them, by the second and third session, every single child was in there, participating and LOVING football. There was no real need to have to encourage anyone after that, they were all keen to play and learn. We would love to have you back any time, our kids were sad we had to finish. Thanks again.”
