Holman family gives Roar Active clinics tick of approval

Our Roar Active Program kick-started their Winter School Holiday clinics this week with a few familiar faces in attendance.

BRFC attacker Brett Holman’s young kids, Mick & Emma, attended the clinic at Brisbane City Indoor Sports Newmarket.

It’s not the first time the young duo have attended a Roar Active Program clinic and have always enjoyed the experience.

ā€œWe get to hop, skip and dribble the ball around cones, I like playing all the different games. Itā€™s fun when we try and play with tennis balls too,” seven-year-old Emma said.

Her younger brother Mick, 6, agreed.

ā€œI like that at the end of every day we always get to play a game of soccer. My favourite game is Shark, when the coach tries to kick away our balls.ā€

The 63-time Socceroo’s kids have now attended three school holiday clinics and are always left wanting more.

ā€œThe Roar Active Holiday Clinics are great for my young children. My son and daughter have attended three times and they love it and always want to go back. A big shout out to the RAP staff who make it such an enjoyable experience for all kids,” Holman said.
