Ins & Outs: Connors in contention for debut

New signing Shea Connors is in contention to make her Westfield W-League debut after being named in Jake Goodship’s extended squad for the Roar Women’s away clash with Perth Glory.

The Roar return to Westfield W-League action for the first time in a month out west on Sunday afternoon (2:30pm KO QLD time)

Connors signed for the Roar earlier in the week on the back of an impressive 2019 NPLW QLD campaign with Logan Lightning where she scored 25 goals in 15 matches.

The 23-year-old has been promoted to the squad alongside fellow youngsters Indiah-Paige Riley & Kaitlyn Torpey. Teenage prospect Winonah Heatley is also in contention to make her Brisbane Roar  debut.
