Brisbane Roar Head Coach Warren Moon has named his extended 20-man squad for Sunday’s blockbuster Elimination Final against Adelaide United at Moreton Daily Stadium.
The Roar are bringing Finals Series football back to Queensland for the first time in four years and could also welcome back several experienced stars for the occasion.
Captain Tom Aldred and fellow defenders Macaulay Gillesphey and Jack Hingert have been added to the side that faced Sydney FC last weekend, as have striker Golgol Mebrahtu and midfielder Rahmat Akbari.
Brisbane beat the Reds 3-1 when the teams met at Moreton Daily Stadium in January, with Adelaide prevailing 1-0 in the reverse fixture in May.
